Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Steelhui is the brand of Tianjin Steelhui Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., a stainless steel processing factory at No. 31-36, Row D, Stainless Steel City, Jieyuan West Road, Tianjin, China. This policy covers steelhui.com, our customer portal, and our focused product-line sites (StelTherm, StelTank, StelBooth, StelPanel, StelMount) that direct inquiries to us.

2. What we collect

We only collect what a fabrication inquiry and a customer account actually need:

• Inquiry details — your name, company, email, optional phone/WhatsApp, and the message, drawings or files you send us for quoting.
• Account details — email address, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider, never readable by us), profile and shipping addresses you save, and your inquiry, quote, order and message history.
• Sign-in via Google or GitHub — your name, email and avatar as shared by that provider. We never see your Google or GitHub password.
• Technical basics — IP address and browser information used for security (rate limiting, abuse prevention) and aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics.

3. How we use it

We use your information to quote your drawings, answer your inquiry, fulfil orders, run your portal account, send transactional email (inquiry confirmations, quote and order updates, password resets), and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or send marketing email you did not ask for.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies that the site needs to work: your sign-in session, a flag that remembers you are signed in, your language preference, and Cloudflare security cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Who processes it for us

Your data is handled by a short list of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for the customer portal.
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and Turnstile human verification.
• Our transactional email provider — delivers inquiry and account email.
• Google / GitHub — only if you choose to sign in with them.

6. Retention & your rights

Inquiry and order records are kept as long as needed for the business relationship and legal bookkeeping. Unfinished file uploads are cleaned up automatically. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you — email sales@steelhui.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile; records we must keep for completed transactions are retained only as long as the law requires.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes affecting portal accounts will be announced in the portal.
